Bipolar plates have an essential effect on weight, volume and also the cost of fuel cells. At first metals or graphite were used because of their high conductivity. After attainmaents in manufacturing of engineering polymers, they were selected to be used as these plates owing to their low corrosion and cost. In this article we present an invistigation on manufacturing of bipolar plates by using thermoplastic composites. Based on this invistigation we come up with Polyethylene as polymeric matrix. It is being manufactured in Iran and so we can utilize it more easily. As we need more conductivity, graphite and carbon were chosen. At the end we should have reached to vertical conductivity more than 50 s/m and pressure resistance more than 25 MgPa and then we optimized them. Eventually we did some significant tests for these plates. Thermal conductivity and mechanical properties have been measured. 1) Renewable
