Determination the situation of the fuel cell technology in the country is necessary Due to appropriate policy making in the fuel cell category. Implementation of each technology needs recognizing related indicators. In this paper, we considered fuel cell technology situation with using of some special indicators of science and technology (papers and patents). This implementation has presented a concept on this technology situation and be the base for the future policy making and develop the fuel cell technology in the country with covering the national strategy of Iran fuel cell technology development targets. The result of this implementation represents the situation of Iran in these two aspects.
