Nowadays due to High cost of fuel, people are encouraged to use renewable energy sources (e.g. solar energy, wind energy). The reasons are that renewable energy sources are clean and infinite. In this paper wind-PV-fuel cell and battery banks are used to supply the demand of the micro-grid. The natural gas is used to produce hydrogen for fuel cells. So in this paper the effect of the cost of fuel on optimal size of each component in micro-grid has been evaluated. In this paper the sum of the total capital, operational and maintenance and replacement costs of distribution energy resource, penalty for interrupted loads and the cost of fuel are minimized.
