Assessment & analysis of selling non-petroleums impacts on growth of national economy

| With due attention to the strategic importance of oil in Irans economy and its more than 100 years history, the gift of oil and natural resources are converted to a curse that causes many malignant effects on the economy. By changing the approach toward oil from being considered as a form of consumer goods to an industry and a productive resource, this gift will be converted to a productive capital. It will also eliminate the ill-effects of selling petroleum. On this basis by using input-output table of 1380(which is prepared by Iran Statistic Institute), exports of petroleum are supposed zero and the intended quantity of exports are added to intermediate consumption of oil products. Now, by using Leontief inverse matrix the new quantity of different economic sectors is estimated. Based on results of the research, by creating essential substructure in order to develop the part of oil products and selling non petroleum , (within a 5 years period with 3.03 growth) we will observe the growth rate of 17.8% in gross domestic product. |
