Numerical Investigation of the Thermal Performance of Floor Heating System with PCM
Abstract:   (7872 Views)
In the present work, a kind of closed phase-change material (PCM) used in solar and low temperature hot water floor heating is investigated. Based on the best performance of PCM characteristics, a new pattern of energy storage floor heating is designed, which places heatpipes in the enclosed phase change material (PCM) layer, without concrete in it. The PCM heat storage time with respect to the floor surface temperature at various low-temperature of hot water is studied. The PCM thermal storage time is studied with enthalpy method under different flow temperatures, feed water flows, distances between water wipe in the floor construction, floor covers and insulation conditions.
