Cement production is a highly energy-intensive process and the rotary kiln is the most important part of the process. Ability to maintain optimum performance of the furnace heat energy that is normally wasted in the process provides. In other words, having a comprehensive model of the furnace in order to reduce manufacturing costs, better performance can be created. In this study, the influence processes in a simulated cement rotary kiln and operating parameters on the output of the study was to develop and validate the systems used the same batch. Results of the simulation, the following were examined:

  • solid, gas and coating phases change temperature in a rotary kiln
  • changes in body heat loss through the rotary kiln
