In this paper, for selecting the most suitable energy supply model for Iran and for being familiar with advantages and disadvantages of the different models, thirteen famous energy supply models have been introduced and analyzed. The models consist of: MARKAL, TIMES, EFOM, WASP, JASP, MESSAGE, IDEAS, RETScreen, LEAP, NPEP, MESAP, NEMS and ENERGY2020. Then using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) mothod and choosing appropriate criteria, the models have been compared and the most suitable model for Iran has been selected.
