Abstract
Environmental pollution, and the price fluctuations of fossil energy sources are used in power plants would have to turn to alternative energy sources. Use of sustainable energy, especially solar energy can be the best option for energy in plants. The first step is to expand the use of solar energy is to locate areas where solar power and other desirable plants meet the requirements, it has. Province to exploit the potential of solar energy. Criteria used in locating suitable areas in the province of sunshine, slope, away from the crowds, away from roads, away from power lines, land use and limitations layer was considered. Extract the required information from various sources and a layer of intelligence to the software environment ACGIS10 were introduced. Criteria weights are derived using Analytical Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy model was used to combine the layers. The area of 22524.115 square kilometers of the province in very good class for solar thermal power plants were constructed.
