Abstract:   (55 Views)
Solar energy is the largest source of renewable energy and its use in buildings improves performance and reduces electricity consumption. In addition, the amount of solar energy entering the building should be controlled. Heat in energy consumption leads to discomfort and discomfort for people. For this reason, it is recommended to use a canopy to control the amount of sunlight. In this research, the external canopy and the orientation of the building as a force change in the amount of solar energy absorption have been specially used and simulated in the city of Tehran using Design Builder software. According to research studies, in the case where the building has an external louver canopy outside the building with a combination of horizontal and vertical canopy, the amount of solar radiation and heat flux reaches the lowest amount compared to other sites, and placing the building at an angle of 0 degrees reaches the lowest amount. . The sun shines. If placing the building at an angle of 0° and using the awning as a louver outside the building along with horizontal and vertical awnings can help reduce energy consumption, control sunlight, and reduce greenhouse gases in the facade of the building.
